Jean Paduano-Teal, C.P.A.
Jean Paduano-Teal is the founder and principal of Jean Paduano-Teal, CPA, PLLC d/b/a Accounting For All. Jean graduated from SUNY Geneseo with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 1984 and passed the Certified Public Accounting exam in 1987.
Jean obtained her CPA license during her three years working for a local public accounting firm in Albany, N.Y. She then went on to work for Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) as part of their Internal Audit team. The local CSC office is the fiscal agent for the New York State Medicaid program.
In addition to her work on the Medicaid contract, Jean assisted the CSC Corporate Internal Audit staff on numerous national and international assignments.
During her time at CSC, Jean began to build her private accounting practice on a part-time basis. Before too long it became apparent her practice was rapidly developing into a full-time commitment, leading Jean to leave CSC in January 1996 in order to fully dedicate herself to her expanding list of clients.
Jean’s practice has grown over the years primarily through client referrals. She now has a client base of approximately 500 individual and small business accounts. As a growing business in New York’s Capital Region today, Jean and the Accounting For All staff thoroughly understand the needs of their clients and enjoy helping fellow entrepreneurs with their various accounting needs.
Jean is a member in good standing of the AICPA and its Peer Review Program and the New York State Society of CPAs. She is a Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor.
A resident of the Capital Region since grammar school, Jean is an avid skier and golfer. She is also an active supporter of the Capital District Chapter of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America and the Albany Center Gallery.
Larry Teal graduated from Siena College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1983 (Accounting Major) and passed the Certified Public Accountant exam in 1986.
Larry spent the first nine years of his career refining his accounting and business management skills in private industry, mainly with manufacturing and wholesale distribution companies. During this period he honed his skills in cost accounting, inventory control and management accounting across various manufacturing platforms. In the position of Controller at several companies, Larry’s main focus was on restoring the businesses to good credit standing by managing assets and inventory to improve cash flow.
One of Larry’s most stimulating positions was as Special Project Manager of Mergers and Acquisitions for Sofco, Inc. In that role he was instrumental in the acquisition and operational restructuring of a $50 million paper distribution company. Larry also had the unique experience of leading a wholesale food distributor through Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization.
Larry spent the next nine years of his career in the software development and telecom industry. In 1992, he joined Commsoft, a telecom customer care and billing software developer, as a software engineer focused on the accounting and inventory modules. At the same time he was expanding his software engineering skills, Larry contributed his business knowledge and experience in helping to develop Commsoft’s first Business Plan and Budget. As the company grew from five employees to over 150 employees just six years later, Larry’s role continued to expand as he took on various management positions, culminating in his being named Commsoft’s Chief Operating Officer. Larry is proud to have been part of a management team which successfully led the company from annual sales of $2 million in 1995 to over $20 million in 1999. Larry later joined a national IT consulting firm before returning to his accounting roots full-time in 2002.
With his wealth of diverse experience, Larry now enjoys assisting small- and medium-sized businesses through his public accounting practice at Accounting For All. A certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor since 1999, Larry’s main focus is on supporting Tech Valley companies in their accounting, tax and QuickBooks consulting needs.
Larry is a life-long resident of the Capital Region, an avid skier and golfer and an active supporter of the Capital District Chapter of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America.
Tom Woodhouse, C.P.A.
Tom graduated from Siena College in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He continued his educational career at Siena and earned his Master of Science in Accounting in 2016. After gaining a year of experience in the private sector, Tom joined Accounting for all in October 2017 and is currently preparing for the CPA exam.
Tom was born and raised in Glastonbury, Connecticut. He attended Glastonbury High School, and was an avid soccer player. During his college search, he was immediately drawn to the sense of community and the educational opportunities offered by Siena College. He has since made the Capital Region his home, enjoying golfing on the weekends while still making time to visit his family in Connecticut.
Robert Hamilton, Staff Accountant
Robert Hamilton graduated from The College of Saint Rose with a Master of Science in Accounting in May 2019, and completed several internships while in school. He joined Accounting For All in June 2019 and is currently preparing for the CPA exam.
Robert attended Thomas R. Proctor High School in Utica, N.Y. where he ran track, which landed him an athletic scholarship to Saint Rose. He was also pulled in by the College’s small class sizes and 5-year Master’s Degree Program.
In his free time, Robert enjoys hiking, running outdoors, and eating out with family and friends.
Lynda Turiel, Junior Accountant
Lynda is a two-time graduate of Hudson Valley Community College where she first studied Early Childhood Education, then Accounting. In 2011 Lynda earned the designation Enrolled Agent (EA), which certifies her as a federally-authorized tax practitioner empowered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
Her professional experience includes more than 15 years of income tax preparation for individuals and small businesses. She also has a strong background in payroll services, non-profit management and small business administration.
Lynda lives in Clifton Park with her husband Michael. They have three children (two sons and a daughter) and one grandson. Lynda enjoys photography, playing the violin, and spending time with family and friends at their vacation property in the Adirondacks.
Rebecka O’Neal is an alumnus of SUNY Cobleskill with an extensive background in office management and marketing. With experience in retail tax offices and collection law, Becky excels in problem resolution and building strong client relationships.
Becky is an amateur photographer, a seasoned camper and a self-proclaimed book worm.
Toni Kopplin, Staff Accountant
Toni Koplin joined the army right out of high school and was stationed in Mannheim, Germany for three years. She has two children, a boy and a girl. Toni received her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting in 2010 from Lakeland College in Sheboygan, Wis. She moved from Wisconsin to New York early in 2016 for a friend and more opportunity. In her free time she likes spending time outdoors with her children and giving back to the community by volunteering her time.
After earning her bachelor’s degree in Design Science from Arizona State University’s College of Architecture, Carol Stock went to work in the banking industry in Arizona, primarily with Bank of America, until returning to the Capital District in 2004. Highly experienced, with an extensive background in customer service and a proven track record of reliability, Carol is well-versed in payroll processing, tax filing, report creation and statement reconciliation. She has a thorough knowledge of QuickBooks.
Carol is a resident of Rexford, N.Y., and along with her husband is the proud parent of three grown children. In her off hours she is an avid skier, and loves to hike, bike and kayak in the warm weather months.
Angela Iveson, Bookkeeper
Angela graduated from Albany Business College, where she earned her Associates Degree in Accounting and Business Administration in 1984. Immediately after graduation she went to work for Norstar Bank (later Key Bank) in the expense department.
In the 1990’s Angela joined a local CPA firm where she worked on client accounts side by side with staff accountants, handling receivables/payables, bank account reconciliation, sales taxes and payroll. After nine years she decided to go to work in private industry, working for several restaurants in the Capital District as a full charge bookkeeper and office manager.
Angela and her husband of 34 years have volunteered their time with Community Animal Action Project (CAAP), whose main goal is to trap, spay/neuter and release feral cats, as well as try and save as many kittens as possible and give them a chance at a good life by finding them permanent homes. The Ivesons have had to temporarily put these efforts on hold in order to care for her parents.
Angela’s favorite pastime is to paint ceramics, especially for her seven nieces and nephews. She has painted a Christmas ornament for each since birth. In fact, she has made so many her brother puts up a separate 6-foot Christmas tree (The Aunt Angela Tree) covered with all the ornaments she has made over the last 24 years — something she will continue to do as the family grows.
